About Us
Finding joy in the beauty of nature
Welcome to La Bella Patagonia. We are an educational, conservation and tourism project that understands the needs of the future. Our main objective is to reconnect human beings with their natural and cultural environment, and regenerate our relationship with ourselves and others through activities of deep contact with nature, and of course, rest as you will find nowhere else.
We form part of La Bella Eco Aldea, a project located in the Maule region of Chile with over 15 years of experience in eco-social regeneration.
At La Bella Patagonia we offer comfortable accommodation in a large old country house that we have been restoring for the past three years, in a 900 ha nature reserve situated on the south bank of the Figueroa River, in the commune of Lago Verde, in the northern Aysén region of Chile, 55 km from La Junta, on the X-13 road.
Our vision and values are to encourage sustainable lifestyles that prioritise conservation, education and rest.
The melting of the Queulat glacier creates the Turbio river, which feeds Lago Verde lake. The Figueroa River originates from the lake and passes our backyard. It forms part of an incredible cycle that we invite you to get to know, understand and love.
Every corner of our refuge is an opportunity for relaxation, rest, disconnection, but mainly for learning.
IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE UNSPOILED BEAUTY OF AYSÉN, PATAGONIA, FAR FROM THE CROWDS.
It is very important to mention that the X-13 road comes by the north bank of the river, so it means that in order to get to the property we have to cross the river. While we are working on a more permanent means of accessing the property, we are using a 15 HP off-board engine boat, which in itself offers an amazing way to start experiencing our hidden paradise.

Lodging for up to 12 people
Bedrooms
The house has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super king size bed. The two adjacent rooms each come with a double bed plus a single bed and a bunk bed, all of them with fine premium bedding. Each bedroom has a bathroom ensuite with hot shower.
Small cabins
We also have two small cabins, sleeping up to five people. They are primarily used by staff working here, but we can make them available to guests if necessary.
Facilities
The house comes with a fully equipped kitchen for up to 12 people. There is a large dining room table, a comfortable lounge with a fireplace and a bar. The house has a washing machine, hot water and satellite WIFI. NO PHONE RECEPTION.

Activities
Create memorable experiences with us
Aysén is a playground for adventure seekers. Embark on guided hikes, river and lake trips across turquoise waters, or ascend to peaks of unmatched beauty. Activities are not included in the housing fee, and they are mainly operated by local providers.
